Bills RB Fred Jackson offered his thoughts on the team’s acquisition of free agent QB Vince Young Friday.
“He’s coming in to compete for the backup job, so he’s another playmaker for us and they’ll find ways to get him in there to compete. He’s another good signing for us so we’ll see what happens,” said Jackson. “I’m sure he can still play. He’s a playmaker and made plays all the time when he had the opportunity. I’m sure he’ll compete with Brad (Smith) and Tyler (Thigpen). We know Fitz is our starting quarterback and he’ll come in and compete for the backup job.”
