Bills new QB Vince Young got a lot of flak for his description of the 2011 Philadelphia Eagles as a ‘Dream Team.’ But most did not hear what Young really meant by that comment after it was blown out of proportion by the Philly media.
“What I was basically saying was the respect I had for the players,” said Young of his then Eagles teammates. “Just like we have here I have a lot of respect for the players that are here. There were a lot of talented guys in Philly, but I definitely won’t make that comment again. It was definitely blown out of proportion. It was just out of respect for the players I was around in that locker room. It’s the same thing here from Mario (Williams) and other guys that used to chase me around. It’s a great thing to be on the same sideline as these guys so it’s a great opportunity to be here.”
