Just about everybody remembers Vince Young’s scramble for a touchdown in the waning seconds of the 2006 National Championship game when Texas beat USC. But there’s a touchdown run that went a lot longer than that back on Christmas Eve 2006, when Young, then a rookie quarterback brought the Tennessee Titans to Buffalo.
I asked Young about that play in our one-on-one interview with him, which went for 36-yards along with his two touchdown passes that helped keep the Titans playoff hopes alive and eliminated the Bills from playoff contention that season in a 30-29 victory. Young didn’t talk about the play much because he remembered the Titans bus getting egged by Bills fans more, but here is the only place you can find it since I couldn’t even find it on YouTube. It’s right at the 3:27 mark of our one-on-one interview. Enjoy.
