Natural pass rushers like Mario Williams and Mark Anderson talk about sacks all the time, so it’s no surprise that Williams was quick to give Anderson his take on how things are going to play out now that they’re on the same roster again.
“We’ve talked about it,” said Williams of sack totals. “We’ve discussed it. He knows he’s going to be behind me no matter I get (laughing). It really doesn’t matter, he knew that coming into this thing. I told him that when I called him before he signed here and I told him. He understands. He’s fine with it.”
Williams had five sacks last season, but played in just five games. Anderson had 10 for the Patriots. The two played together in Houston in 2010. That year Williams had 8.5 sacks in 13 games while Anderson had four sacks in 11 games.
