In our exclusive one-on-one interview with Bills GM Buddy Nix, we asked the club’s personnel boss how quickly he believes all the new pieces on defense will be able to jell and execute at peak performance in a new system to boot. Suffice to say Nix is pretty confident the on field chemistry will happen quickly.
“I think at the end of preseason they’ll be ready to go,” Nix told Buffalobills.com. “They’ve jelled good together so far and a lot even though you’re not hitting there’s a lot of learning going on. I think our defense is going to be a little more basic where guys can turn loose and play more. I don’t see any length of time that they’re will be growing pains. We expect to kick it off and play good.”
