Bills veteran CB Terrence McGee had training camp as his target return date from the torn patellar tendon he suffered against Miami in Week 11 last season. He will be practicing this afternoon, but he still doesn’t believe he’s all the way back physically.
“I’m not 100 percent, but at the same time I’m able to get out there and compete and do some things so I’m happy about that,” said McGee.
When asked how happy he is to be participating again, McGee downplayed it.
“It’s alright,” he said. “I’m one of those players that want to go out there and play my best. I don’t want to go out there and do anything halfway. You go out there against guys against guys like Steve Johnson, you don’t want to go half. You want to be 100 percent with guys like that. I can’t wait to get to that point.”
McGee did not provide a timetable as to when he’ll once and for all be in top physical form.
