Bills starting center Eric Wood is steadily increasing his workload with each passing day. He went from five reps to 12 reps to even more than that in Friday’s practice. The Bills coaching staff just wants to remain cautious and not push things too far.
“I think very well,” said Chan Gailey when asked how Wood is progressing. “Today he took more than he had taken all camp in team reps. So we’ll evaluate how he feels tonight and tomorrow morning to get a better feel how far we can continue to push that.”
On Saturday the Bills are scheduled to have their first “live” goal line plays. It’s not expected that Wood will be a part of those reps in practice coming off of ACL surgery.
