We know we have to be better

The first team offense Thursday night had 46 total net yards on four possessions and three points despite having a pair of drive starts in Washington territory. The veterans on offense know things have to improve.

“We’ve got a lot of film to check out and we’ve got to get better at some things,” said Stevie Johnson. ”We know we can be better and we have to connect way more than we did in that first quarter.”

“We did not execute like we wanted to obviously,” said Scott Chandler. “We had too many penalties offensively with the first group. Obviously we need to work on it.”
