Shep, Spence finish early

Kelvin Sheppard and Spencer Johnson both stepped out of practice early. Head coach Chan Gailey had an update on both.

“He’s got that same issue that’s still bothering him,” said Gailey of Sheppard. “He’s in and out, I think in the long term he’ll be fine.”

Sheppard is still dealing with an undisclosed medical issue.

“Spence has got a banged up shoulder that’s just bothering him,” said Gailey of Johnson. ”I don’t think it’s anything major. They said he’ll be back soon. I don’t know if it’ll be tomorrow, but it’ll be soon.”
