Spiller now sound in pass pro

One thing that kept C.J. Spiller from being an option as an every down back in the past was his effectiveness in pass protection. That’s all in the past now.

“C.J. is right on the money,” said head coach Chan Gailey of Spiller’s pass protection assignments. ”He knows everything now. It is not as easy as some people might think to figure it out. But he has it all down pat.”

So on passing downs it won’t just be Fred Jackson lining up in the backfield this season.
