The Bills starting defense held the Steelers run game to 1.9 yards per carry. They also got pressure on Ben Roethlisberger dropping him for a pair of sacks. Marcell Dareus was far from satisfied after they gave up the 98-yd TD drive at the end of the half.
“I’m so not happy,” he said. “I feel like we can do a lot better if we just put our mind to it. We really had some moments where we saw that we can be real good. I think if we keep chopping at that wood we’ll get there.”
Dareus and Kyle Williams were especially effective in collapsing the pocket preventing Roethlisberger from stepping up to deliver the football early.
