The production that Fred Jackson had in the run game (4.9 yards per carry) against a good Pittsburgh run front and the touchdown drive were enough to assure the Bills feature back that they’ll be good to go come the regular season, despite some difficulty to find a consistent rhythm.
“I think we are good,” he said. “We know what we have to do. Go in and fix, like I said, look at the film and figure out what it is we need to work on. But I think we are heading in the right direction. We made some plays while we were out there and we made some mistakes as well. But I think we will be alright.”
Ryan Fitzpatrick also maintained that the offense will be ready to roll come Week 1 at MetLife Stadium.
