Smith has groin injury

Brad Smith suffered a groin injury in Thursday night’s preseason finale.

Head coach Chan Gailey didn’t believe the injury to be serious, but said Smith would be re-evaluated Friday.

Gailey also said the injury would not complicate the decisions to be made at quarterback.
