Nelson confirms ACL tear

Head coach Chan Gailey would only label it a season-ending knee injury for David Nelson, but the receiver confirmed he sustained a torn ACL in the Week 1 loss to the Jets.

For those asking. It is an ACL tear and I’m done for the year. Just like always, I will approach this recovery w all I have!
