George Wilson was shaken up late in the first half when he went low to make a tackle on Kevin Boss on a deep seam pass over the middle. He left the game and was put through a test to assess whether he had sustained a concussion. Here were the results.
“It was a clean bill of health,” said Wilson. “I just had my eggs scrambled for a play there. The training staff just want to err on the side of caution. They brought me in to make sure that everything was ok, did the concusion screenings and everything. I had a clean bill of health before the team came in for halftime. I know that sometimes we as players want to get back out there and that’s why we have team doctors and trainers in those moments to protect us from ourselves.
“I feel great. They quizzed me on where I was lined up, what was the play call, what was the pass that they threw, who was it. They took me through the whole gamut and I passed.”
