Dareus update

Marcell Dareus traveled back to Alabama to reunite with his family in the wake of his brother’s passing. Head coach Chan Gailey provided an update on Dareus’ physical health after he got nicked up in Sunday’s game, but was able to return and finish.

“I think he’s okay. He left last night and I think he’ll be okay,” said Gailey. ”He understands exactly what he needs to do in the next couple of days so he can get back here and be ready to go when he gets back whenever that is.”

Gailey said he’s not sure exactly when Dareus will return to the team this week. He missed Wednesday’s practice last week.
