While the Bills offense put up 35 points in Week 2 and ranks fourth in the league in points per game, the vets on offense are far from satisfied including Stevie Johnson.
“We felt the pressure as an offense last week,” he said. “We have to be better. We’re in a tough division, this division that we’re in is hard. We’ve got to be able to play better every week to compete with the other teams in this division. Now we’ve got to go to Cleveland and try to handle business there. We still can be way better than what were out there on Sunday.”
It sounds like the lessons of Week 1 are still very fresh knowing they squandered an opportunity to win a division game early. They also know they’d be wise to stay on the path of steadily improving their collective game knowing the Patriots loom as a Week 4 opponent.
