Byrd won’t practice
Posted by on September 19, 2012 – 12:34 pmBills head coach Chan Gailey will be without one of his starting safeties at practice today.
Starting FS Jairus Byrd is going to miss Wednesday’s practice with a foot injury suffered last Sunday.
“He’s taken a step back,” said Gailey of Byrd and his foot injury. “He’s going to struggle to make some practice this week, so we’ll have to see. It may be a game time decision on him.”
X-rays on Byrd’s foot Monday were negative. Gailey also said Ruvell Martin would not practice today either. Martin also had x-rays performed for an undisclosed injury, but they were negative too.
