Fred Jackson got his injured right knee re-examined by team physicians earlier this week as was originally scheduled after his Week 1 injury, and the outlook is very positive.
“I got it looked at on Monday and it’s going reallly well,” Jackson told Buffalobills.com. “They were excited with what they saw. Now it’s just about trying to get me back out there as soon as possible.”
Jackson’s task now is to be smart with his rehab and not push his healing knee too hard.
“That’s just it,” he said. “The stay smart part is listening to the doctors telling me what they see and what they think and doing exactly what they want me to, but at the same time I want to be out there competing with my teammates. I’m excited about what they’re getting done and I want to be out there helping.”
