Browns coach on Fitz
Posted by on September 24, 2012 – 10:23 amRyan Fitzpatrick was very efficient in Buffalo’s win over Cleveland Sunday with three touchdown passes. Browns head coach Pat Shurmur, who has a pretty talented rookie QB in Brandon Weeden likes Fitzpatrick’s game.
“I thought going into it that (Ryan) Fitzpatrick was kind of a gritty, gutty quarterback,” said Shurmur. ”What did they throw for a couple hundred yards? 200 yards, and he had 22 completions. He threw for three touchdowns – we can’t let them do that. He’s good.”
Fitzpatrick passer rating so far this season is at 95.2. He’s got eight touchdowns against three interceptions, and all three of the INTs came in Week 1.
