The Bills top two running backs are going to quickly develop a reputation as fast healers. First, Fred Jackson is going to practice today a week earlier than anticipated in his return from a sprained knee and now C.J. Spiller, might get some time on the practice field before the week is out.
That according to head coach Chan Gailey.
“He’s not going to practice today, but we’re hoping we’ll get him a few reps maybe by the end of the week,” said Gailey of Spiller. “I don’t know for sure. We’ll see.”
Gailey said on Monday that he feels Spiller has a good chance to return to action Week 5 at San Francisco.
