It’s an easy game for the Bills to get up for and the Patriots being losers of two straight will be more than ready for today’s game. Bills GM Buddy Nix and head coach Chan Gailey tried to attach proper significance to this Week 4 division tilt without overstating it.
“It’s a division game at home and those are the ones you need to win,” said Gailey. “I think if you make too much out of it you can get out of whack with your whole thought process. But I think we all realize what impact this game could have and should have on your season and their season and the division race as a whole. We all know what’s at stake.”
“First, it’s a divisional game and one that we shoot for and New England where they’ve been and where they are is where we want to be,” said Nix. “We want to be every year favored or in the discussion about who is going to win the AFC. Once we get to that point that’s what we’re shooting for.”
