Bills head coach Chan Gailey provided an update on the prognosis of the two starting offensive linemen he lost in the Week 4 defeat to the Patriots Sunday.
Both players left the game with ankle injuries and Gailey gave an estimate on how long both would be out Monday morning in his weekly radio appearance on Bills flagship station WGR Sportsradio 550.
“I hesitate to do that anymore because I get it so wrong,” said Gailey initially. “I just think it’s going to be two or three weeks probably and then we’ll go from there.”
Gailey said right after the game Sunday that both would be out “a while.”
That means that Chris Hairston and Chad Rinehart will man the left tackle and right guard spots for the foreseeable future and in both road games coming up at San Francisco and Arizona.
