Bills running backs Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller will be on the practice field Wednesday. Both said they feel better today than they did at this time last week.
“Yes, I do,” said Jackson. “I think that’s just the knee getting stronger and the treatment that they’re doing is making it better. I definitely feel a lot better today than I did last week so hopefully that continues to increase and it gets better.”
“I guess you could say that,” said Spiller. “I’m just taking it day by day trying to do all the necessary things that I can do to make sure that hopefully I’m ready to go. I don’t think I wouldn’t be ready to go considering I played last week. So just doing all the necessary things that I can.”
Jackson said he expects to wear the knee brace again this week at San Francisco, but isn’t sure what the plan will be with regard to the brace after that.
