Even though Bills DE Mark Anderson has already had his knee surgery this week, head coach Chan Gailey said the picture is still a bit unclear on how long Anderson might be out, but they do have a loose time frame at this point.
“I could say a general term of three to nine weeks and I’m probably wrong two or three weeks either way,” said Gailey in his weekly conversation with Buffalobills.com. ”I don’t know where yet. I think once we get a week of rehab in we’ll have a much better idea.”
Earlier this season Gailey gave a three to eight week timetable for Fred Jackson, and thought it would closer to long end of that timetable and Jackson came back in three weeks. So you understand why Gailey is hesitant to provide a definitive timetable for Anderson.
