What C.J. & Fred discuss between series
Posted by on October 14, 2012 – 8:50 amAs we mentioned earlier in the week with C.J. Spiller and Fred Jackson splitting time at tailback it’s prompted them to improvise in terms of getting a feel for the opposing defense and get into a rhythm on offense. Head coach Chan Gailey in his weekly conversation with Buffalobills.com shed some light on just what they discuss to help one another out.
“They talk about protection schemes. That’s probably the first thing,” said Gailey. ”Whether or not it’s fast flow defense or whether the linebackers are hanging back in the run game. They talk about whether the safeties are cheating down or whether they’re staying soft. Those are the little things that you talk about and get a feel for in the game, but they can help each other with those kinds of things.”
