Fred Jackson shed the knee brace for the first time in three games Sunday and started to cut and move like he used to prior to his Week 1 knee injury.
“No brace. It felt good to get back out there, definitely felt like I move around better, so that was good, hopefully continue to build from there.”
Jackson rushed for 53 yards on 16 carries (3.3 avg.) and a touchdown Sunday. He also had five catches for 30 yards, but he’s still not all the way back to where he was going into the season.
“I still got some work to get there,” he said. “It’s not 100-percent yet, but it’s a lot better. As long as I continue to work on it, hopefully I continue to get better, and we have no snags.”
