QUOTE OF THE DAY
Head Coach Chan Gailey
On bringing back DE Shawne Merriman:
You can never have too many guys that we believe can rush the passer. With Mark (Anderson) being out and not only Mark being out, but Spencer (Johnson) who is kind of our swing guy being out—we would rather not go into a game with just three defensive ends. We do not know how long Spencer is going to be, so we are going to sign Shawne back and hopefully he will give us some pass rush off of the edge.
PHOTO OF THE DAY
FS Jairus Byrd tallied two interceptions in Sunday’s win at Arizona. Byrd now has three interceptions so far this season and 16 total in his career moving him into sole possession of 17th on the Bills’ all-time interceptions chart. He is the sixth Bill ever with four-plus multi-interception games joining Tom Janik (6), Billy Atkins (5), Archie Matsos (4), George “Butch” Byrd (4), and Mark Kelso (4).
