THIS DAY IN BILLS HISTORY

RB Thurman Thomas
October 30, 1988 – THOMAS RUSHES FOR 100 YARDS FOR FIRST TIME
Thurman Thomas went over the century mark for the first time in his career, rushing for 116 yards in a 28-0 romp of the Green Bay Packers at Rich Stadium. Depew native Don Majkowski received a warm welcome from the Bills defense, as Cornelius Bennett recorded 2½ sacks and Mark Kelso returned an interception 78 yards for a TD.
QUOTE OF THE DAY
RB Fred Jackson
What are your initial indications on Houston?
“Good defense. One of the best, if not the best defense we will see this year. J.J. (Watt) is playing out of his mind right now, so it will be a good challenge for us but for us to get to where we want to be we know we have to play teams like this. We get to go down to their place which is going to be a tough thing for us to do. We like what we have got here and what we can do. It will be a good challenge for us, but we are looking forward to it.”
