Report: Mario had torn ligament in wrist

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Bills DE Mario Williams wrist surgery was a bit more extensive than initially believed.

Schefter is reporting that Williams underwent surgery to repair a torn ligament in his wrist.

He also compared it to the toe surgery Williams underwent in his rookie season that compromised his effectiveness until he had it repaired and had a strong remainder of the season in terms of production. The Bills are undoubtedly hoping this wrist surgery provides similar results.
