Bills had eye on CB Butler

Bills newly signed CB Crezdon Butler was a young player that Buffalo has had their eye on long before they signed him Wednesday.

Head coach Chan Gailey explained how the club tried to sign him earlier this season.

“We have had our eye on Crezdon Butler for a while now and Buddy’s always liked him,” said Gailey of the Bills GM. ”He’s a guy that we looked at a few weeks ago when Arizona let him go. We were trying to get him at that time but it didn’t work out. And now it worked out that we had a spot and we were able to get him.”

Butler is a former fifth-round pick of the Steelers (2010).
