Last month, Bills fullback Corey McIntyre launched his TEAM 38 mentor program in partnership with South Park High School (more information below).
McIntyre has put together a comprehensive program where the students’ participation will enable them to earn scholarship dollars to go toward their college educations. By participating in this program throughout all four high school years, students will have the opportunity to graduate with a $3,800.00 scholarship from McIntyre to the college of their choice.
Tonight, Corey will host his first fundraising event in Buffalo to help raise scholarship dollars for TEAM 38 at Lancaster Lanes (4913 Transit Rd, Depew NY 14043). Tickets can be purchased online at www.TEAM38.eventbrite.com
For more information on TEAM 38-read below:
Team 38 was established to provide mentoring, uncover passions and lead young men to their respective purposes. The charity also changes the cycle of fatherlessness by providing role models for participating children. Partnering with local school districts, the juvenile court system, churches and other nonprofit organizations, Team 38 will match a caring adult volunteer with a young man to help him map out positive steps to achieve his dream. Through a network of community support, partnerships with local organizations, fundraising activities and training programs, Team 38 will reach, teach and equip young men with tools to positively affect their personal lives, family, community and the world.
