Fred Jackson did not practice Monday with his teammates, but was in attendance as a spectator. Head coach Chan Gailey said the main reason he was not participating was because the running back has not yet finished his concussion protocol.
“Fred has not completed everything,” Gailey said. “He’ll complete everything tomorrow, but everything is on track for him to be ready to go Wednesday. He said he’s feeling well.”
Provided Jackson comes through the end of the concussion protocol Tuesday with no problems, he’s expected to practice Wednesday. Jackson missed last Thursday night’s game against Miami.
