Head coach Chan Gailey said he made it clear to Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller that Spiller would handle more of the work out of the backfield. After the game however, it was clear Jackson was hoping he’d be able to make a greater contribution.
Bills RB Fred Jackson returned to action from his concussion suffered in Week 10, but lamented not being asked to make a lot of plays.
“No, I didn’t really get a lot of work,” he said. “We came out down 20-6, so you know were gonna pass the ball a little bit, so, its tough. A lot of guys are upset. We gotta keep pushing, though. A lot of guys are upset about the game, but we gotta keep pushing.”
Jackson had six carries for 16 yards and a reception for eight yards in the game.
