QUOTE OF THE DAY
GM Buddy Nix (via WGR550 11/30/12)
Q: You guys have addressed cornerback a few times in the draft since you have been here with mixed results at this point. CB (Stephon) Gilmore looks very good, CB Aaron Williams was struggling before his injury and now CB Justin Rogers is having some issues as well. How concerned are you about the depth and the productivity you are getting at that position?
A: I do not think you ever have enough depth, I think, at that position. Sometimes we have six or seven defensive backs on the field and they are playing in all special teams and that kind of thing. So you never have enough depth. I like our guys. I think we have good players. I think there is some that have good potential to play that have not been on the field yet. If you get an injury or two they may have to (play). Justin Rogers was a seventh round pick. He has done extremely well. I think that the big thing with him is probably confidence goes up and down. He has had some little nagging injuries, but he is a good player for us. He will contribute and he will be a good depth player. I think Aaron Williams especially will play well for us. He has had injuries that have set him back some along the way, but he is very talented and a smart guy. He will play well in this league.
