Stevie Johnson left Sunday’s game with a hamstring problem. He walked to the locker room under his own power and didn’t appear to be favoring it much. The wide receiver gave an update on his condition after the game.
“It is tight. That’s all it is,” he said. “I think we are going to get some work on it and be back next week.”
Johnson said the hamstring tightened up on the play right before his 13-yard touchdown catch.
“I kind of got hit and then I felt it,” said Johnson. “Then on the touchdown I felt it when I made the cut and afterwards it was like if I go out there again I think it will end up pulling or something.”
Fortunately Johnson’s third quarter touchdown put Buffalo up two touchdowns (24-10), and the Bills only increased their lead allowing Johnson to rest the hamstring for the remainder of the game.
