It’s the players day off at One Bills Drive, but the coaches are at work. And so are we, getting ready for tonight’s installment of The John Murphy Show.
We start at 7pm with a recap of the news of the day. The Bills rediscovered their run game in the victory over Jacksonville, thanks in part to the weather conditions at Ralph Wilson Stadium. And Buffalo is ranked 8th in the NFL in number of rushing attempts, three-quarters of the way into the season. We’ll hear from Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller about the role of the Bills running attack in today’s NFL.
At 7:20pm, we’ll be on the line with Bills rookie CB Ron Brooks. He was all over the field Sunday, turning in some good plays, some less than stellar plays, and some penalties. We’ll review his first NFL start Sunday.
At 8pm, Hall of Fame RB Thurman Thomas joins us to talk about the Bills latest win and where they go from here.
And at 8:20pm, Mike Catalana from WHAM-TV in Rochester joins us for his take on the upcoming final four regular season games. Mike is also a co-host of the Buffalo Bills Postgame Show on TV.
There’s always time for phone calls from Bills fans. The John Murphy Show airs weeknights from 7pm-9pm on the flagship station of the Bills, WGR Sports Radio 550.
