Mario in top 5 for sacks on 3rd & 4th down

Mario Williams’ season has really taken a turn for the better since he had surgery on his ailing left wrist during the bye week. That’s why it’s little surprise that when Pro Football Focus assessed which NFL pass rushers have been the most effective on third and fourth downs at getting sacks this season, Williams was on the list.

Williams was tied for fourth on the list with Houston’s J.J. Watt with six of his 10.5 sacks this season coming on third or fourth down. Here’s the list.
