The ‘what if” game is something that no NFL coach ever does, but Buffalo’s players were left with that question as they began to reflect on their 2012 season following their win over the Jets Sunday.
For Bryan Scott, who is an unrestricted free agent and has seen his share of disappointment in a Bills uniform, it was particularly difficult.
“It does, but from a player standpoint I’ve been here for six years and who knows what my future holds. I’m a free agent as well,” he said. “This city and this organization has meant so much to me and seeing the resiliency of these guys. We’ve been through a lot up and down. It does kind of hit home a little bit to t think, ‘Wow this might be it.’ And also that disappointing feeling that if it is it you left not accomplishing what you wanted to accomplish.”
