Greatest Comeback in NFL History
– Twenty years ago, the Buffalo Bills produced the ‘Greatest Comeback’ in NFL history, erasing a 35-3 deficit in the 1992 AFC Wild Card game against the Houston Oilers. January 3, 1993 — BILLS EXECUTE GREATEST COMEBACK IN NFL HISTORY
The Bills came back from a 32-point deficit in the second half to win an AFC Wild Card game over the Houston Oilers in Orchard Park. Buffalo was down 28-3 at halftime and Houston scored a TD early in the second half to lead 35-3 before the Bills made their comeback and won the game 41-38 in overtime on Steve Christie’s 32-yard field goal.
