Geno Smith says no thanks to Senior Bowl
Posted by on January 8, 2013 – 1:56 pmWest Virginia QB Geno Smith, who will be part of the 2013 NFL draft pool at quarterback has chosen to bypass participating in the Senior Bowl.
Smith tweeted his decision Tuesday.
Thanks to the Senior Bowl for the invite, but for the record I will not be participating. Once again thanks to the Senior Bowl committee.

Smith is considered one of the better quarterback prospects in this year’s draft class. He completed 71 percent of his passes in 2012 throwing for over 4,200 yards with 42 touchdowns and six interceptions. He also averaged better than eight yards per attempt (8.12).
