Bills WR Stevie Johnson has yet to meet new head coach Doug Marrone, but he’s been researching his new sideline boss online.
Appearing on the Jim Rome Show Friday at the Super Bowl in New Orleans, Johnson gave his initial thoughts on Marrone.
“I haven’t spoken to him yet, but I have definitely been doing some Youtubing on him,” said Johnson. “I wasn’t looking up the plays or anything, I was just looking at the type of person he was. How was he on the sideline and I loved what I saw. He was hyped. He was energized – chest bumping with the guys and that’s the energy we need out in Buffalo. We need that. … I haven’t spoken to him yet and I don’t need to. I just want to show up on April 1st and show him that I am ready to work.”
