Te’o shuts down Twitter account
Posted by on February 6, 2013 – 2:04 pmHe reportedly did it at a time when no one was paying attention. According to ESPN’s Darren Rovell, Notre Dame LB Manti Te’o deleted his Twitter account on Super Bowl Sunday.
Per the report, Te’o made the decision to focus on his NFL draft preparation. A source told Rovell that Te’o will be off of Twitter for “an indefinite period of time.” Accounts on Twitter can be re-activated.
Te’o is still widely forecast as a first round pick for April’s draft. He’ll be at the NFL Combine where it’s expected he’ll meet with the media. Buffalobills.com will have full coverage of the NFL Combine beginning on Thursday, Feb. 21st.
