BDC 2/28: Kelsay Announces Plans to Retire

DAILY REPORT
–Buffalo Bills DE Chris Kelsay has informed the team of his plans to retire. Kelsay met with Buddy Nix late yesterday afternoon and informed the Bills General Manager of his decision. Kelsay was selected by Buffalo in the second-round (48th overall) of the 2003 NFL draft out of Nebraska.

–The Marine Trades Association of WNY will be hosting its annual Boat Show in the Bills HealthyZone Fieldhouse. The event runs throughout the week with the last viewing on Sunday, March 3rd. Bills DE Chris Kelsay finished his career with 522 tackles (305 solo), 90 quarterback hits, 21 passes defensed, two safeties, eight forced fumbles, six fumble recoveries and three interceptions. He appeared in 147 games and made 120 starts in his 10-year career (2003-12) with Buffalo and totaled 32.5 sacks – which stands as the ninth-most in franchise history. Kelsay is one of three Buffalo defensive linemen (Ron McDole – 6 and Aaron Schobel – 3) to record three interceptions with the Bills.
