Wood recruiting Welker?

Bills center Eric Wood is offering to lead New England free agent WR Wes Welker on a tour of Buffalo and the team facilities should he choose to make a free agent visit to Orchard Park.

Wood did so on his Twitter account.

It’s unclear if a slot receiver is a ‘want’ by Buffalo, knowing they’d ideally like to move Stevie Johnson inside and get a big wideout to line up outside. At the same time landing Welker would also be a huge subtraction from New England and even at age 31 he’s still an elite wideout.
