Former NFL GM Charley Casserly, now an analyst on NFL Network will be a featured guest on the Bills Draft Show set to air tonight on WKBW-TV Channel 7 in Buffalo tonight at 7 pm and presented by New Era. Casserly assessed trade down options for the Bills from their pick at eight overall in round one.
“You’ve got to have a trade partner to do it with,” said Casserly. “We don’t know until Buffalo gets on the clock and who is available and who is not. If (Oklahoma OT) Lane Johnson is there he’s a guy that people would trade for. At cornerback (Alabama’s) Dee Milliner is a guy that should be gone by the time the Bills pick, if he’s there teams will be interested in trading for him. Those are a couple of scenarios that could happen that could dictate some trade calls for the Bills.”
Other potential scenarios could include West Virginia WR Tavon Austin, who is considered one of the biggest home-run threats in the entire draft class. Teams could be eager to move up to land Austin as well.
Be sure to tune into the one-hour Bills Draft Show special on WKBW-TV Channel 7 tonight at 7pm, presented by New Era.
