Here is what Bills scout Brad Forsyth said about Bills second round pick Robert Woods’ game.
“He is as polished a receiver as I’ve seen in a while,” said Forsyth. “He really understands how to play the game. He’s faster than I think a lot of people give him credit for. He knows how to use his speed. He knows how to separate. A really, really good route runner.
“He just knows how to set things up, set DBs up, work the coverages and he’s got great hands and ball skills. Once he gets it he knows what to do with it too.”
When Buffalobills.com asked about Woods ability to go up in a crowd and make a play, Forsyth offered the following.
“I don’t have any issues with that,” said Forsyth. “He’s not small and he’s not the 6’2” or 6’3” guy either. He’s a six-foot with a strong build and he’s added good weight to him the last couple of years. He’s a guy that will go up and compete for it. He goes to try and take it which you like to see.”
