Outgoing Bills GM Buddy Nix has said more than once that he wanted to see things through with the organization and get it back to being a winning team. Though the won-loss record has yet to show that, Nix believes he has done so as he now steps aside.
In a one-on-one interview with Buffalobills.com, Nix explained why he felt he positioned the team for success.
“Yeah, obviously you’d like to see the win-loss results, but somebody asked about what I think is going to be remembered about my legacy,” said Nix. “It’s according to who is looking at it I guess, but I think it’s going to be determined in the next two or three years. I think the good times are coming and that’s not to put any pressure on the head coach now, he knows there’s pressure anyway in this
business. But I think our roster is good, I like the draft class and I like our rookies, so I think we’re fixing to have some exciting times.”
