Practicing outdoors this time of the year is no big deal in Buffalo as the Bills have been outside for most of the past week or so. Come the fall and early winter months during the regular season head coach Doug Marrone intends to practice outside as often as he can.
“My philosophy is going to be to try to get outside as much as possible, whether it’s hot, cold or windy,” said Marrone. “As much as I have that ability I’d like to be outside.”
Marrone likely understands his team has to make playing in the elements that exist in Buffalo come November and December an advantage. A team does that by practicing in that weather during the week.
