He expressed a desire to sign with a contender as a free agent this offseason, but now it appears he’ll sign with no one. Veteran guard Brandon Moore will reportedly retire.
That according to NFL reporter Adam Caplan, who is citing an unnamed source.
Former Jets G Brandon Moore is expected to retire, per source. Moore, 33, started 142 games (137 straight games) in his 10 seasons.

I viewed Moore as a potential option for the Bills if they were not satisfied with how the talent pans out in the battle for the left guard position in camp, which we profiled on Buffalobills.com today.
Moore has a history with Bills head coach Doug Marrone. It was Marrone that essentially taught Moore how to play on the offensive line as he was originally signed by the Jets as a defensive lineman. At the time Marrone was the offensive line coach and Moore was his personal project.
Moore won’t turn 34 until next June and was still a productive player for the Jets last season.
